Vidnyan Dhara 2026, a mega science series commemorating National Science Day, was organized by the Goa State Higher Education Council in association with the Directorate of Higher Education. The initiative aimed to promote scientific temper, stimulate critical thinking, and connect participants with contemporary scientific perspectives through expert-led deliberations.
On the occasion, Gaurav Desai delivered an insightful lecture on “Beyond Herbs and Myths – The Real Science of Ayurveda.” The session highlighted the evidence-based principles of Ayurveda, clarified common misconceptions, and presented the subject in the context of modern scientific understanding.
