1.Circulation Section
The Circulation Section serves as the central point for issuing and returning library materials. It is equipped with a computer system with internet connectivity and is integrated with the KOHA Library Management Software, ensuring efficient and automated library operations. Users can access services such as book issue/return, renewal, and enquiry at this counter.
2.Lending Section
The Lending Section is responsible for providing access to the library’s book collection for home use. Books are issued to students and staff as per the library rules and borrowing limits. This section ensures proper maintenance of records through the KOHA system and facilitates timely issue, return, and renewal of books. It plays a vital role in supporting the teaching-learning process by making resources easily accessible to users.
3.Periodical Section
The Periodical Section houses all the journals, magazines, and newspapers subscribed by the library. Display racks are arranged systematically to provide easy access to current issues. The section also maintains bound volumes of back issues of journals, which are preserved for reference and research purposes.
4.Reading Room
The library provides a spacious and quiet Reading Room designed to facilitate focused study and reference work. It is furnished with adequate tables and chairs, accommodating up to 50 students at a time. This area ensures a comfortable and disciplined environment for academic engagement.
5.Digital Section
The Digital Section is equipped with two computers with internet access, enabling users to access subscribed e-resources and online academic content. Students can utilize this facility for research, project work, and retrieving scholarly information relevant to their studies.
